Special Posessions: He calls Ripple his special posession.   Weapons: Axe.   Preferred Weapon: Axe.   Character & History   Personality: Despite his sometimes rather threatening appearance, Bearkin is a friendly, jovial elf and will mostly give someone the benefit of the doubt. Always in for a good laugh, loves to entertain the cub by telling funny stories. He dotes on Muse, though he sometimes can't follow her reasoning when it comes to music. He loves singing himself, though is probably one of the worst singers around. Muse's protests about him singing don't hurt him and he often squeals some off-tones just to nag her. His laughing starts as a rumbling thunder and his usual roar makes other people join in the laughing, too. During the hunt or the council of elders, though, he is very serious. Despite his size, he is one of the best wolfback riders in the holt and prefers the chase over the kill, enjoying his wolfblood singing in his veins. And he takes his responsibility as advisor very seriously, standing by Halfnote as she needs advice.   History: Born during the wandering period, Twinkle's life didn't begin easy, but he managed to get through it without any physical damage. Ever since he was a young boy, his roaring laughter affected people in a positive way, and soon he was seen as the entertainer of the wandering group. Soon the tribe learned that he would grow even larger than his father. His iron grip earned him the name of Holdfast. The first major event that affected his life was the crossing of the Whitecold Mountains, during which chief Tailwind and his son died. Lightgaze had been a good friend of his, and he could barely grasp the fact that he had passed on, despite the fact that Wolfriders learn early about life and death. Early already, Holdfast started to develop facefur and jokes were made about him looking like a bear. He proudly took the name of Bearkin, taking no offence in the jokes. In the beginning of the settling, when the holt was founded, he had some difficulties with adjusting to staying on just one place. All he had ever known was living a nomadic life, and it took a while to settle. Together with his good friend Raven and with Viper, they scouted the surroundings, being away for days on end. When his parents recognized again, giving birth to Whisperleaf, he was overjoyed to have a little sister. His parents, dying soon after Whisperleaf reached her adolescent years, made him closer to his sister and friends. Raven's death was harsh for Bearkin and he remembered the pain he felt when Lightgaze died, and he supported Halfnote during the first couple of years. They even shared furs to forget what had happened, but those occasions lessened after he recognized Muse. Although the two weren't anything like each other, he wanted to try and see how far they could get together. He fell in love with baby Ripple as soon as he set eyes on her, and thinks she is literally the best thing that happened to him. He has grown to love Muse, her positive and negative sides. Wolf Friend   Name: Shorttail   Rank: High Age: 11   Gender: Male Personality: Shorttail is named after his amputated tail, which he lost when he was just a pup. Despite his name, he is a huge wolf, shaggy dark brown with a black face. His front paws are also dark. Swift runner and chaser, but because of his size he sometimes gets clumsy. Nevertheless, loves the hunt, but spends more time with the rest of the pack. Shorttail isn't really a socializer and will sometimes even refuse to let Bearkin ride him.
