Special Posessions: Her doll, which Whisperleaf made her.   Weapons: Small bow with wooden arrows to practice.   Preferred Weapon: Bow.   Character & History   Personality: Ripple is a curious young lady, but next to Gale she expresses her curiosity in silence. She knows what she wants to become and takes greatly after chieftess Halfnote, whom she sees as her biggest example. Ever since she was a small cub, Ripple has been fond of their chieftess and likes to copy Halfnote's behaviour and skills in any way. She learns by observing, copying other people's behaviour until she thinks it is no longer interesting, or that she has learned all she could. At this moment, sending is her utmost priority, because she thinks she lacks the skill and will prefer sending above talking. Though she hasn't seen much and most probably has a long life ahead of her, she wants to learn everything there is, and as quickly as possible. Ripple is mature for her age and sometimes and already has a somewhat sarcastic kind of humor. She's very proud of her good bond with Silhouette -- being taken seriously by an adult means the world to her. Although she likes playing with Gale, she sometimes finds his games too childish and will prefer adult attention. She loves to hear stories and music, too, but is not motivated to pick up an instrument herself, much to her mother's dismay. She wants to be treated as an adult too, but to her irritation everyone still sees her as a cub. She takes after her father, which is a great companion to her with all the patience in the world to teach her whatever she wants - he spoils her.   History: Ripple was born to Muse and Bearkin, two elves who couldn't be more different: Bearkin, being a tall, broad hunter with a realistic view of the world and a jovial personality and Muse, a dreamy elfess fond of music. From the beginning, Ripple took more after her father although Muse was able to get a hold of her when she was still very young. More recently, Ripple chose her own path preferring her father's tribal duty than her mother's. She is now practicing the bow with the help from her father, frustrated that things don't always turn out to be how she wants it. She went on a secret soul search when she was 9 because she felt ready for it -- leaving in the late afternoon when everybody was still asleep. Without knowing, Silhouette (then Halfear) followed the youngster and was able to save her from a troll that had wandered far from the mountains -- or perhaps, they had a cave-entry nearby. Feeling both angry and relief that she had been followed, Ripple almost fought when Silhouette escorted her home. Only after seeing the mental pictures of what *could* have happened, Ripple came around and told the chieftess and the tribe what had happened. Up until today, she's rather proud of being the one who suggested a new name for Silhouette. Wolf Friend   Name: Starchaser   Rank: Mid Age: 4   Gender: Male Personality: Darkbrown wolf, with an even darker face and darker paws and bright, yellow eyes. He earned his name from chasing fireflies. Starchaser is enthusiastic, overactive and very fond of Ripple, but a troublemaker, too. Even though Ripple wants to take on some duties seriously, it is Starchaser who gets her into trouble, mostly. While hunting, however, he has proven to be a canny, clever wolf.
